Description
I linger solitary,
To taste one kiss of the evening breeze,
And feel the freshness of dew descending
Blooms gather their tendrils in knots of beauty,
Hang their clusters in loving profusion;
Faithfully renewing their perfumed petals
And honey-sweet pendants,
In the hope of autumn
